Kickoff Party

We had our kickoff parties for the Youth for Christ kids this week. JV on Tuesday and Campus Life (older kids) on Thursday. The kickoff parties are basically all fun and games, then our following meetings will have a few more serious elements, but still with lots of fun and games! I'm looking forward to this year!

Here's the JV kids before the bulk up.

During...... and after!

Now for the tasty sundae eating contest, complete with pickles, mashed banana and anchovies. Campus Life on the right, JV on the left. The JV kids put the older kids to shame, they downed their sundaes with hardly a complaint! One of the kids was upset that we threw out the leftover anchovies because he wanted to eat them! Sarah won the JV contest, very impressive. Jack (on the left) won the Campus Life competition.

And now the Campus Life muscle man contest. the gray team stuffed in 44 balloons in the time limit, but the blue had 45. Close one!
