We close on our house tomorrow at 2:00! I can't wait. I will be awhile without internet access, so I apologize for not posting anything... hopefully I will be back soon!

things, in my opinion, that you should try at least once

climb to the top of a mountain

go sailing

watch a good sunset over a large body of water

eat the closest thing to true Italian pizza that you can find

go off-roading

ride in a hot air balloon

white water rafting

sit on a deserted, and preferably rocky, beach

go to a good concert

give something valuable away

manual labor

eat gelato

have a pet

go to, or better yet, live in the country

Things I suspect I would add to the list if I get the chance to do them:

hike canyons in the southwest

take dancing lessons

travel Hawaii

try surfing

Did I forget anything?

Quote of the Day

Mrs. Chapman: "Wow, 0-0, how unsatisfying."

Mr. Chapman: "Yeah, kinda like kissing your sister."

Its grape picking season back home. I wish I was there! Working together at all hours of the day and night to get the load of grapes in. Working hard and being outdoors. The smell of ripe grapes everywhere. The comments of "this is picking weather!" when it is cold, rainy, and/or snowing! Various adventures involving broken down machinery or getting stuck in the mud (although I'm sure my dad never appreciated those parts). Picking season has been a part of my life since my parents put me in a car seat and strapped it to the grape picker when I was a baby up until I went away to college. It seems as though a part of Autumn is missing without it. Of course its one of those things I never really appreciated until I was older and now I miss it! I hope you're all having fun! ( :
